Philosophy

Five elements of consciousness exist – the body, mind, emotions, spirit and soul. Each element impacts our awareness of the world and how we respond to it. Our body has physical sensations. Our mind creates thoughts. We feel with our emotions. We receive messages from our soul. And, in the stillness of silence, we feel our spirit’s presence.

Dynamic energy fields interconnect the five elements. What happens to one element affects all others. For example, a physical sensation like pain may create stressful thoughts and emotions. It may block the soul’s wisdom and dissipate spiritual energy. In other words, you feel bad, so you think bad, act bad, ignore your inner wisdom, and feel spiritually drained.

That’s why self-healing is an ongoing process, not an event.

Integrated sound healing honours all five elements.

Secondly, understanding your personal belief system is integral to self-healing. The journey from illness to wellness begins when we suspend the voices of judgment, criticism and fear within us.

When we enter a mindful or present state – become aware and accept who we are, right here, right now, in this moment. Only then can we open our hearts, our minds, and our will to let go of what no longer serves us. Only then can we break old patterns, reform our beliefs and begin a healthy transformation to wellness.

Sound vibrations, focused by intention, set this cycle in motion. They may lead to a mindful awareness of sensations, thoughts, feelings, spirituality and the soul. In this way, sound helps us to manage our response to stress. It enables us to respond, rather than react, to stressful situations.
